Funeral Services
Civil Funeral Services are normally held at a crematorium but can also take place at a cemetery. I will work closely with the family to create a service that really captures the essence of your loved one.
The ceremony script can be developed and refined until you are completely happy with it. The service can be entirely family-led, with me as celebrant presenting as much or as little as you wish. I understand the importance of honouring the wishes of the deceased and creating a fitting tribute that reflects their life, values, and the love they shared with family and friends.

Natural Burial Services
There is a growing movement toward more environmentally friendly burials in natural burial grounds. I can provide a beautiful, personalised service at your chosen place of rest. These services can still include all the meaningful elements you want - music, poetry, readings, and personal tributes.
There are an increasing number of these natural burial sites available, and I can help guide you through the options and create a ceremony that honours both your loved one and the natural environment.
-
Ash scattering ceremonies
I can guide and advise on suitable locations for scattering your loved one's ashes, and create a meaningful ceremony to commemorate this special occasion. Depending on the location, the service can include music, poetry, readings, or other personal touches that feel appropriate.
The location of the scattering can be recorded for future reference, creating a special place where you can return to remember and reflect on your loved one's life.
-
Memorial Services
As more families choose direct cremation, many wish to hold a memorial service at a later date in a more informal, personalised setting. I can help suggest suitable local venues and provide a meaningful, tailored memorial service that celebrates your loved one's life.
Memorial services offer the opportunity to gather friends and family in a relaxed environment where stories can be shared, memories celebrated, and your loved one's life properly honoured.
-
Pre-planning Services
Many people find comfort in pre-planning their funeral service, which relieves the emotional and practical burden on loved ones during an already difficult time.
Imagine how comforting it would be for your family to know that your funeral service reflects exactly how you would have wanted to be remembered. I can help with this sensitive process with tact, empathy, and understanding, ensuring your wishes are clearly documented and your family is supported
